too expensive

i took my car back three times to get the air conditioner repaired. i was getting other work done. the tune up was fine; about the same price as the dealer charges. the oil change was $80. it is synthedic oil. $30 more than wal-mart. they put 5 quarts in, not the 5.8 it needed and i paid for. they repaired the air conditioner at the same time as the tune up. it cooled one day. they repaired it a second time. it cooled one day. i took it to the a third time. this time they found the porblem; two bad hoses. i received an estimate for over $1,100.00. i took the car to another repair shop. they located and repaired the air conditioner on the first attempt for less than $500.00. it has been cooling for over two months. nice people. too expensive. the inability to locate the problem and then charge way too much to repair it is a big issue for me.
