A very Bad experience

This place was a joke! The owners are a married couple. They were clearly unhappy with each other and argued out loud for all to hear, and mainly about a call from an unhappy customer. That was not very pleasant. Okay, I will keep this as short as possible. My Mother and I have been there 2 times. She went alone the last time. My haircut was just okay, but I didn't feel the time he took was even worth the money he charged. Still, it was ok. My Mother's visit was horrible to her. She is on a fixed income. I got the price for the services she wanted on the phone myself before her appointment. They overcharged her tremendously, adding certain pricey applications to her hair that were not mentioned first or agreed upon. Beware of the 50% off coupon. They didn't apply it to the service they told me they would. When she was checking out, she disagreed with the total price they were quoting and tried to write them another check and disregard the first she had written prior to her arriving. She said they were both at the register, neither of them budging about the disagreement and making her feel about an inch high. Okay, I thought it wasn't like my Mom to overreact but I'll call them in the morning and straighten out this misunderstanding. OMG.....was I ever in for a surprise! I have never encountered the rudeness in people, especially coming from a service business, that I encountered that day. I was so mad after talking to them. But now, I almost feel sorry for them. They must be so unhappy in life. I feel they took advantage of an elderly person. If I had been there, I wouldn't have paid the price they were asking. He kept saying, "Oh yes, my wife told her what she was going to put on her hair! And he was ranting and raving about me wanting some money back! It was unbelieveable to say the least. Think twice about where you go for your beauty services and always get recommendations! :)
